We were in Bayonne for about 10 days and had lunch twice here. It was so good the first time that we just had to fit in a second visit. The food is fresh, flavoursome and looks gorgeous too. The formule for lunch is very good value. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside with a lovely view over lawn and trees of the square and across the Nive to the attractive old buildings on the other side.
an excellent address: a neat and fast service, delicious dishes with very good products and very accessible for all. the managers are very nice and the restaurant is placed on a large quiet square with a beautiful sunny terrace! ideal to eat in bayonne before swelling in the alleys of the city! address to be avoided during the holidays. I've rarely eaten a duck candy pot of such poor quality. hard duck, hard to cut, cold filling and almost non-existent.
