Bistro Mavrommatis Passy

we were strangely a little burned on the fine French kitchen of paris, and found this little jewel. they had no English version of the menu so that the manager came and literally read the entire menu to us. the food was fresh, rich, delicious and beautiful. I know that I am going to paris as a tourist and looking for great Mediterranean foods, is not really a more common step, but that is not far from the eiffel tower, and it really felt like a great foundation. excellent service and eating.

a Greek bistro attachment food shop in paris. I had a great taramas and a beautiful beef steifado, with a glass of Greek white wine. everything was prepared. the atmosphere was calm, with some Greek music in the background. the workers had to update their grieche a bit, as I heard a customer who asked what mousakas was and the waitress could not answer. I'm sure she'll learn.

great witness. all the dishes we had, we loved. moussaka, edelsteinista, Keftedes...all! the desserts were excellent. the Greek wine list, fab! the avaton gerovasileiou was great. and last but not least the service was fast and gentle so they feel like home. happy to meet...Dionyssis, one of the mavromatis brothers who own the place.

Amazing Greek food, with a diverse selection on offer. Friendly staff and they speak English! The restaurant was roomy and very well-lit. It's a great place for a quick lunch with friends and colleagues.

It is a wonderful place. We had to wait almost 45 minutes between appetiser and main dish. that was the only drawback. Otherwise, very friendly and accommodating.
