Bistro Mezzaluna

Although popular, this place is a real sleeper. Nice ambiance, valet parking and delicious food The service is impeccable and they don't rush you through dinner. We live here 6 months a year, and we found it on Open Table. We've probably been there 5 times, and we love the slower pace and the old school ambiance of the restaurant. I had snapper with crab and my husband had their swordfish special with artichoke hash. Delectable. Key lime pie for dessert with house wine. Highly recommend. Less frenetic and more romantic than the waterfront places in Fort Lauderdale.

Weather was too cool so they wouldn’t sit us on the covered patio so opted for a booth inside… unfortunately they were out of several dishes but we chose 4 different entrees which were all excellent. Our server was very friendly and selected an excellent wine for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. We have been to this restaurant many times and it’s consistently good

There is simply no other restaurant in Fort Lauderdale like this one. Old school charm and perfectly prepared food and drinks.
