I’ve visited many times, and they have always been consistent, but tonight, I noticed they've perfected what I already thought they had mastered! The fried chicken was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth perfection! My husband enjoyed the pork belly appetizer, and it was fantastic. The curry mussels were unbelievable, with a sauce that you’ll be thinking about for a long time. I had the shrimp and grits as my main dish, while my husband opted for the catfish. I celebrated my birthday at my favorite restaurant with my favorite person—my daughter. The menu had so many tempting options, but we decided on the crab cakes, mussels in curry broth, and fried chicken, accompanied by a glass of white wine for me and a lychee martini for her to kick things off. For our main courses, I enjoyed my favorite dish: shrimp and grits, while my daughter opted for the braised short ribs. We ended our meal with a bananas Foster cheesecake for her and a chocolate torte for me. As always, everything was delicious and perfectly prepared; it was so good that we ordered extra fried chicken for her to take home. They never fail to impress!
A great restaurant located in the west of Montreal. However, after a few visits, the menu starts to feel a bit uninspired, as there aren't many new items or options to choose from. Additionally, prices have significantly increased recently (as of early September 2023), whereas they used to be reasonable. On the positive side, the service is consistently excellent and professional, and the food remains good!
Exceptional on every level. The blackened catfish, hush puppies, pork belly, curry mussels, shrimp and grits, and the fried chicken, best I've ever had. This place went from very good to outstanding!

Virgin mohjito is outrageous at $10 for lime mint and soda. I work in a high end restaurant and thus price cannot be justified. Everything else was amazing
