It was our first time there. we found out about it because the restaurant was listed for restaurant week. One of my friends does not drink alcohol so when we found out that the 1st course was only alcohol she had to order from the regular menu. It was fairly loud...I couldn't hear my friends across the table. The food was delicious but the waiter was not friendly. he did not smile, he checked on us once but he would not listen for the answer. He asked then walked off. My friend wanted coffee after thee meal but we could not get our waiter attention then we gave up.
The food was great as was the service. Our seating area was quite dim and I needed my cell phone flash light to read the menu. noise level was quite loud...........the restaurant needs to add baffles or noise suppressors. Also the seats of the chairs are not padded................fortunately the restaurant had trow pillows one could use mo make the seating more comfortable

food and service were very good, but wee at 10 per glass still annoying. they ran out of wein special at 6:45, which seemed like bad planning. also kellnerin had no idea what it was about "1 special" that I had logged into open table. time for a small fine mood! over all, a good restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and good eating.

We had guests in from out of town. The restaurant was overcrowded, loud and under staffed. The food quality suffered. Croissants burned. Quiches and crepes barely room temperature. Presentation of food good. Taste was flat. Very disappointing!
Although the service was slow, the staff were working diligently. The restaurant was crowded, and it appeared that there were not enough wait staff to handle the large number of customers.
we had the five cursor meal with wein pairs for Valentine's Day. everything was delicious. were in other French places in the city and spent much more for much less
As usual, excellent food and service. They especially always do a good job with their moules. It does have the feel of a local french Bistro.

This is one of the best restaurants in all of charleston. We eat out a LOT. Don’t let the strip mall fool you.
