On a sunny terrace somewhere in Germany... A lovely sunny Sunday around 11 a.m., perfect for sitting on the terrace of Restaurant Woods with a book and a cappuccino while family members were in the pool. It was also perfect for my fellow terrace guests, who could watch their children playing from there or just chat in the sunshine, enjoying a drink, of course. First, I had to wait until 12 p.m., because that's when the restaurant would open. I went in at 12 p.m. to order a cappuccino. I was told I could sit inside. I indicated I'd like to drink the coffee on the terrace. That wasn't possible; they didn't serve it outside. Could I get a cappuccino to go? I could, but I wasn't allowed to drink...
I'm definitely giving it two stars for the ambiance, the rooms, and the polite service staff. We were greeted very rudely, where they immediately made it clear to us that we wouldn't get a seat without a reservation, but that they would try to find one, and they found a seat for two. They also found a seat for the next guests, and they also found a seat for the next many families. Someone must be acting very important to get the guests to come along. The food came so quickly that it can only be convenience food. The schnitzel was definitely not pan-fried with butter; the time between ordering and serving was no more than a minute, probably less. For the price, I expect freshly prepared food....
We recently visited this restaurant and were unfortunately disappointed. While the location is nice, the value for money is completely off. The food was very expensive and neither fresh nor particularly tasty. The portions were noticeably small. The service was attentive but generally poor – plates and glasses remained on the table until we left. The only positive aspect was the small children's play area, which made the experience somewhat more pleasant. The ambiance is okay, but nothing special. Overall, I wouldn't go back and would rather drive a bit further to eat at a decent restaurant.
Das Restaurant hat einen sehr großen, erhöhten Außenbereich, die Sonnenterrasse, von dem sich der angrenzende Spielplatz übersehen lässt. Die Essenskarte ist überschaubar und die Preise für Essen und Trinken relativ hoch. Qualität und Geschmack desselben ist OK. Als besondere Attraktion wäre die Auslieferung des Essens an den Tisch, mittels Roboter, zu nennen. Kindern werden auf Anfrage Holzstifte und Papier gereicht, was ohne Spitzer aber natürlich etwas witzlos ist.

I don't quite understand the criticism. But we were there when it wasn't very busy! The food was delicious and plentiful; yes, it was pre made meals, but they tasted fine. The service was very friendly, and the drinks arrived quickly. The food took a normal amount of time! Perhaps the chef has changed. We would definitely go there again. :
Frozen vegetables. FROZEN VEGETABLES? You want more than you can handle. The food is as close to inedible as possible. Excellent premises and great space for children to be entertained/play. However, I have to point out again that the food is a disaster.
Die Karte ist überschaubar die Preise zur Größe und Qualität des Essen sehr teuer. Auch die Getränke preislich zu hoch. Das Personal war super nett und die Kinder waren vom Roboter begeistert der ihnen extra gezeigt wurde.
Tolles Ambiente, super Essen und ein cooler Roboter der die Speisen zum Tisch liefert. Das Personal war super nett und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Macht weiter so

Wenn man zu viel Geld hat und keinen großen Hunger, ist man hier genau richtig. Man ist ja froh dass, das Besteck nicht auch noch extra berechnet wurde. Immerhin der Service war freundlich.
Absolut TOP! SUPER Service! Leckeres Essen! Jederzeit gerne wieder!
