When we called to book a table from the gite we were staying in locally, the first surprise was to be asked what we wanted to eat. Because at this Bistro, they'll cook you whatever you want. All fresh and all beautifully cooked. The place changed hands fairly recently and the new owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful and just wants you to enjoy his food and the place. We had a wonderful casserole of potatoes and vegetables with barbequed lamb, duck and chorizo. The wine was fantastic and the meal cost us about 20 Euro a head - an absolute bargain - and the best value for money of our whole French trip. We'd have eaten here every night without a problem. I hope it manages to resist any...
We liked the initial greeting we had from François and decided to book as requested. On our return we were again warmly greeted and shown to a well dressed table in the bar which we asked to move to the back courtyard - no problemo! The meal was freshly cooked before our very eyes. A nice succulent piece of duck, excellent chips, vegetables and green salad, all served with wine from 0.5 mile down the road. Local cheese followed and then a house desert of home cooked brownie, fruit salad and ice cream. Throughout our host was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. All for a very reasonable price. Do remember to book.
We went here twice trying to get something to eat the first time was in afternoon so out of their usual food time but the second was in the evening and we were told we could not eat as we had not booked .. there was plenty of free space / tables etc. so just a crazy rule they have .They are nice friendly people .Just writing this to others as a warning that no food unless you have booked...Sorry can't recommend
Thank you Francois for the most fabulous dining experiences of our stay; we ate here twice, to receive a lovely welcome and great service, not to mention a simple but delicious meal each time. Real food and so reasonable! We loved every minute. Francois and his lovely wife will cook whatever you wish, if you ask the day before, and I have to say these were the best meals we enjoyed on our holiday.

This little is one of the best kept secrets of this area. We tried a number of other restaurants that were recommended by fellow trip advisors but this was the best dinner we had all holiday. Just wish we had found it sooner! Will be back again!
The place to go if you want to have some tapas! A large choice of tapas and other Spanish style food, and of course sangria! Friendly and nice staff :)

Only had coffee here but was beautiful. Owner was a lovely friendly man. Coffee was amazing and pastry to match. Worth a visit
