Lucullus - Reserva de mesa

Make sure you have a table. It is that simple, but on vacation, who remembers that reservation is sometimes necessary, especially when you want to shoot stars and eat accordingly. Don't hesitate to order an apperitive, because then the feast already starts with little niceties being offered. Go for some menu, and try the Poitou wines, you won't be disappointed. Then the food. What can I say. THis is France at Star Height. You are the one that orders, you are challenged to enjoy what is offered. You will not be dissapointed. My wife had Riz-de-veau in a very special way and I loved the variations on lamb. I wish every reader and visitor the happiness of good food, available here.

booked to eat at lunchtime on the Easter weekend. The restaurant was closed so we booked into the Bistro. The food was absolutely amazing, wonderful flavours and beautifully presented. We eat out regularly both in the UK and France and rarely find service, menu, food presentation and flavours faultless but we cannot find one thing to say about the Bistro at Le Lucullus that was flawed!We all had the set menu for 25e for 3 courses. Couple of choices on each course. The service was impeccable, the house wine was very good and reasonably priced.If you are near Montmorillion you must try this restaurant.

We eat here every now and then. And each time it strikes me what great value for money you get. - The service is excellent. Friendly, relaxed, yet to the point. - The atmosphere is good. Relaxed, informal, good seats, good climate.- The food is great! Not only do they have veggie menu at a high level, but the other menu's are of high quality as well. Certainly the desserts are delicious and beautiful And this all for a very moderate price between € 22 (veggie) and € 28 (simple 3 course menu). Well done!

This is probably our tenth visit to this great Montmorillon restaurant! We came to celebrate our friends birthday. It was exceptional service again! We all chose from the three course menu terroir and for 25 euros a head it's amazing! Fabulous local produce well cooked and talented waiting staff who understand the dishes and are very warm and friendly! The restaurant is found at the back of the Hotel de France, and is a fabulous find! The food was amazing, course after course was presented, and the wine was lovely. The staff and surroundings were perfect, attentive and helped us with our french pronunciation/english translation when needed!I have ticked the fine dining box, but the whole menu was 26euro plus wine.Will definitely be back!Thank you

We ate in the bistro and had the three course set menu . Which was fantastic value for money at £13 euros each . The food although no choice but what was Listed was fantastic taste and quality .The best set meal we have had during the times we have visited France . We have heard the main restaurant is supposed to be great also. Well worth a visit if your in the area.

This gem of a restaurant is tucked away in Montmorillon and is truly worth a visit. We sat outside on the terrace, and enjoyed a perfect summer's evening with friends, food, wonderful service and a really reasonable price. I had foie gras, Lobster, desert and oodles of wine and it ended up being less than 50 euros per person. Truly a bargain. Go and enjoy!!

This is a really great restaurant in Montmorillon. I had a three course meal with the Fois gras, the lobster in cognac butter, and a lovely desert. Yes the Lobster in congac butter was even better than it Sounds. The house wine is very good. We went with a large group of friends, drank a good bit of wine and the bill was something like 50 Euros a person. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fantastic fine dining Fois Gras to die for, wine a little expensive. Cheese superb, service first class. Not far off it's first star i should think. A Must try restaurant, thoroughly enjoyable.
