This place is so good, we actually went 3 times!!!! The menu is really good not the usual Colmar fare, but a variety of dishes to suit all tastes! They offer 3 'formules ' so you know what the cost of the food is regardless of what you choose to eat. Between us, we tried quite a few things on the menu but my favourite wasx the butcher 's choice a most wonderful steak cooked exactly to my request. There was a thunderstorm the last night we ate there and I moved seconds before the cover just above me gave way had I been sitting there I wouild have been completely soaked!! it was a beautiful restaurant with wonderful sitting in free and very good eating. it was quite busy so that the service quickly worsened I have waited almost half an hour for my check. but if in colmar, especially, and frankly, in general, this is waiting more like the people watching.' until it marks for half an hour.

O melhor chucrute! Já comemos muitos pela Alemanha, Áustria e França, mas este sem dúvida o melhor. Magret de canard tb muito bem feito. Crème Brullè diferenciado. Atendimento muito atencioso e comida excelente (pratos e sobremesa).

The food was really good and the restaurant is located in the main square of the city, so it has a beautiful view. I had a “poitrine de porc au miel” and it was amazing, the desserts (crème brûlée and profiteroles) were also great! Reserva una mesa ahora

Came in by chance, had a nice table upstairs. Loved maigre du canard, rum baba (with real rum), escargot were simply ideal. Service was a 5-star one in French and English, polite, quick and warm. Wonderful

Very interesting place, and name. Ask them about the history behind their name, and the corresponding pictures hanging on their walls on the second floor. Food was truly hearty Alsatian stuff too.
