The garden setting made for a lovely ambiance in this restaurant, which we found thanks to TripAdvisor. Make a booking; that place was packed when we arrived for a late lunch. The service was good but the waiting time was long. The service staff were...very polite and professional. We ordered the plat du jour which was beautifully plated, but after taking a few bites of the meat, we decided that the meat was really undercooked for our liking. The waiter took it back with no questions asked, and brought back the dishes re-plated. The food was impressive. Generous portions ensured we didn't leave hungry, beautiful presentation, tasty, but above all, the ingredients were of really good quality....

My son and I drove through the night to get to the Alps in time to collect our ski passes, rent my skis and take possession of our apartment. On the way we stopped in Chambery to visit a supermarket. We wanted a quick lunch and visited Google for restaurants near me. We fell on our feet. The reception we received was warm and welcoming. The food was great and the staff fun and very French. I would strongly recommend this off-the-beaten track-stone.

The best meal we had during three weeks of travelling around Europe. Found at the end of a tough day driving so most welcome and unexpected. A good choice on the menu with everything freshly prepared. Additionally a good wine list which complemented the menu. Definitely a place to return to when next in the area.
