la place is beautifully situated in the city directly opposite hotel de ville with a beautiful shaded terrace. the menu offers them a good typical bistro food with some extra daily dishes. we had the Caesar salad, salmon sandwich and croque monsieur. all were very well prepared, nicely plated...and huge portions. the prices are fair, the staff is very friendly and English speaking. as it should be.

the restaurant is well located and has a beautiful terrace. but if they don't have to reserve they have to wait a very long time for their eating. at least 45-60 min. this, while others take their seats and get their meal almost immediately. obviously doesn't help.....it can also be very windy. It was okay.

not quite a gourmet experience, but a beautiful place to sit and dine with very decent food. the service was acceptable. the weather was very hot and their terrace gave a good level of shade from the plan trees.
