We spent a wonderful vacation in St. Jorioz and Annecy area. One of the evenings we had dinner at Auberge Le Semnoz although we have not stayed on there and were overwhelmed by the personal attention received from JEAN PHILLIPE HERISSON, the chef and the owner. Although his restaurant was full of guests (two buses of hungry guests just arrived…) he found also time to spend with us giving personal attention to us and to the menu served (one of my friends was diabetic and required special meal that Jean Phillipe prepared for him). Moreover he was very kind to agree that we drink our own wine bought during a visit to a local vineyard, during the meal without any extra charges…We were delighted...

Nous avons passé un excellent moment gustatif dans cet établissement. Le chef est venu nous présenter sa carte et ses plats, il est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes, et le menu unique à 25 euros (30e avec le fromage) a pleinement satisfait nos papilles. Les plats sont copieux et bien présentés, en particulier le foie-gras était excellent, et on est content de rencontrer un chef qui aime son métier et aime faire plaisir à ses clients.

Deux menus uniquement, biens cuisinés, service un peu débordé mais ce restaurant qui fait hotel accueille des groupes, il est préférable de commander avant :-) mieux vaut arriver tot ou réserver pour ne pas se déplacer pour rien
