I've always wanted to try this place since it opened just haven't had the time until today, unfortunately I should've listened to the bad reviews. When I first entered I said hello and was not greeted but there was a friendly man on his way out that did say hello. I ordered the BBQ chicken, collard greens, yams, and a fish sandwich, the food wasn't very hot it was lukewarm. The chicken's was very dry like it was heated up and served, the greens I could definitely tell they were from out of the can 100%, and the yams weren't too bad. The fish on the fish sandwich did still have the tail and scales on it and wasn't seasoned at all. I really wish that my experience was better but unfortunately...

Good food and good portions. I ordered from Uber eats and I was not disappointed. This is the baked chicken, white rice and cabbage with a piece of cornbread. Everything tasted amazing. I ended up ordering the same thing the next day and adding mac ncheese. I would not recommend the mac n cheese (didn't get a pic) but, everything else was delicious again. Not too expensivealthough, everything is relatively expensive nowadays.

I ordered from them earlier today through DoorDash. The yams weren?t fully cooked they were dry not even a little sweet. The macaroni the cheese inside tasted fake like it was box macaroni. The only thing that was okay was the ribs and then even thosekinda be on the rough side. Cornbread was dry ! The food here is on off because I?ve ordered from here a few times one day thefood can be decent and the next terrible

I ordered from this restaurant today through DoorDash. The yams were not cooked through and lacked sweetness. The macaroni and cheese had a strange texture, like it was from a box. The ribs were the only decent part of the meal, but even they were a bit tough. The cornbread was dry. This restaurant is amazing! The flavors are outstanding and the portions are generous. The oxtails, fried chicken, and cabbage were all exceptionally good. You will never leave disappointed - it's just not possible. The hospitality is so great that you'll want to keep coming back again and again. This soul food restaurant is in a league of its own and has quickly become my new favorite spot.

Remarkable! Flavorful! Plentiful! Excellent portions. Oxtails, fried chicken and even the cabbage was off the chain!! You will never be disappointed. It's just not possible. The hospitality alone makes you want to go back time and time again.?????? Asoulfood place above and beyond the rest. My new favorite place.

Awful! Ordered garlic wings and ended up receiving undercooked wings topped with chopped garlic. The mac and cheese had no flavor, just plain noodles with melted cheese. Save your money and skip this place. $40 down the drain. Reserva una mesa ahora

Disgusting! Ordered garlic wings and received half baked wings with minced garlic thrown on them. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste, just noodles with melted cheese? don?t waste your money here. Waste of $40

Went in at the end of their day. The Baked chicken was dry. The white rice is parboiled rice, bland. The green beans are from the can and pretty salty. The portion is pretty small for the size box they use.
