B.k. Sweeny's Parkside Tavern

Went in for lunch today, Friday, and requested the round table. The rude blonde waitress very curtly stated that there was only room for 6 chairs, whereas we had 7 in the party. Upon looking at the table, we could definitely have fit one more chair and gently pointed that out. She obnoxiously refused and blamed the policy on the owner of the establishment. She also stated that if we tried to add the extra chair, she would kick us out. Well, she didn’t need to as we left and went to ‘Me You Restaurant’ and had a lovely, sweet server who served us a delicious meal I will never ever walk into Sweeney’s again, and apparently not a lot of people do as there was only one patron, sitting at the bar...

This is a review of a single menu item, not the overall restaurant... Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order the meatloaf. It is the single most disgusting thing I 've ever eaten. Rubbery texture, bizarre flavor, and what tasted like eight tablespoons of thyme. It 's an experience I wouldn 't wish on my worst enemy. MANAGEMENT: Google simple meatloaf recipe and follow any of the first few hits. It will be a vast improvement over the vile thing you put in front of me tonight. Otherwise, everything was OK.

I recently came here for a multiple person retirement party. The place is large, has out door seating and handled our crowd of union workers very well. Service was great and the drinks flowed. There definitely was catered food which i didnt dive into too much besides a little salad which was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was very chill and inviting considering this seem like a place that def had its share of regulars there.

Definitely a local Bethpage bar. Loads of sports moms and dads celebrating their kids' wins over a pint.. food was alright, I had the fish and chips. It was super oily.. my husband enjoyed the French dip, which was much more delicious! Parking: Park in the back. Service: Dine in

Had the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was very good. Cheesecake was even better. Service was very prompt and friendly. Perfect atmosphere for pub. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
