Second time here, never again . After arriving at the restaurant and standing at the bar for over 5 minutes, trying to get the bartenders attention. I was unsuccessful. I don’t understand how you go into a business and you’re not greeted. You’re not acknowledge this lady didn’t even say welcome to BLACK,I’ll be right with you have a seat. Nothing I just don’t understand why the customer service is so nonexistent at this business. There was nothing welcoming about this establishment. This place is a hidden gem! We’ve been meaning to try it for a while now and tonight we finally did and it did not disappoint! Beyond the great food is the amazing and friendly service. Sara was our server/ bartender and she did an exceptional job at making us feel welcome. She was attentive and very personable. The poutine was one of the main reasons why we came (we had a craving and it was one of the best traditional poutines we’ve ever had, especially around here! We had gone out to dinner before going to Black, so I cannot say anything about the food, but I would imagine it is very good!Sarah was working behind the bar and was so wonderful and she has a great voice singing, as well.We had a great time!

Great food, good prices, excellent staff.Highly recommended! Could use better signage to lure customers. We were not sure what it was for a long time.

Went for the burger special, and it was amazing. It's worth more than I paid. Wife had French onion soup, which she loved.
