Went on a Sunday about 2pm and it was packed. They have chairs outside with fans and cold lemonade. The waiters handled all the customers just fine. The guy at the front calling people to come in was having a bad day. On the way out we asked for a military discount and we got one. The girl at the register was really having a bad day because she gave us attitude just for asking about the military discount. Only reason. They don't get five stars is because the staff up front was very rude and it seemed like they really didn't want to be there.
We had a delightful meal with excellent service from our waitress Eryka at this restaurant. The portions were generous and we highly recommend trying the waffles. Our drinks were refreshing, and my Arnie Palmer was particularly amazing. I strongly suggest visiting this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was awesome. I would give it a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars, as perfection is hard to achieve. Black Bear Diner is highly recommended for family dining.
Was a little bit of a wait time. However, the host was great about keeping us updated on how many groups were ahead of us. The food portions were well over enough for the price you pay. My meal I ordered did not have any seasoning on it what so ever, at the table is just basic condiments, so I loaded my plate with lots of ketchup. The customer service was great! My server did an excellent job and remembered me from 2 weeks prior. Overall, will eat at again.
I had the tri tip sandwich with sauteed onions, mushrooms and added cheese. There was so much meat I used my knife and fork to eat it as an extra. Next time rather than the huge salad that I chose for the side I will try their soup. If it is as good as the meal I enjoyed I can't wait to go back!!! Great food with lots of choices and excellent service. Can't ask for anything more. Try it for yourself and see if you agree with me

A delicious food wonderful service from our waitress Eryka. The portions were amazingly highly recommended the waffles. Drinking cold and my Arnie Palmer was amazing. I recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great service great food great atmosphere 4.9 out of 5 stars because no one is perfect in this world Black Bear Diner, no one. Very recommended for the family dinner.
WOW! Zero complaints from my family. The food was absolutely delicious big portions I would say. My little one lived the cub pancake platter with fruit. My husband's corn beef hash was unlike anything we've had before! Fresh squeezed orange juice. I loved the grits. This is a popular breakfast place, their was a line outside. We were seated in 25min. Worth the wait!
Saturday morning breakfast rush mother's day weekend and we were seated in a good amount of time. The service was quick and done right even with a full house. The food is always great and a much better value for what you pay than other dinner chains in the area. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous restaurant with the best bacon I have ever had. Absolutely love the decor and atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and the plate was full. The cinnamon roll French toast was amazing.
