Black Powder Tavern

It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were very impressed by all aspects of food here. Great tasting food (Haben Pork Belly Packaging, Shrimp and Grits and Big Ale Burger 2 wonderful choices of beer). Nice service. interesting and comfortable ambience. And very good value for everyone above. Definitely for more. P.S. Our third visit was even better. The food was the same delicious, but the service was much more efficient and nicer. Our second visit was for dinner and the service was not so great because they were very busy. We think lunchtime works better for us. This time we tried fish and fries and hats, and both were only excellent in taste as well as the portion size. Thanks to the whole team. We plan to come back every time we're in the area.

Consistently good food and friendly service. Four of us recently ordered two chopped salads, one with shrimp and one with salmon, and 2 burgers one veggie and one classic. Salads were large and the additions were very tasty. The burgers were good and served on lovely Brioche buns. Limp fries are a deal breaker for me and these did not disappoint very crispy. Occasionally, will stop by just for desserts after an evening out. Do miss their expanded dessert menu and wished they would peel their apples for the crisp but otherwise it's A+.

1. Here. The place is very beautifully decorated for the holiday. We came for lunch. I had the black fish tacos that were salmon. I thought that was a nice turn. They're hot. If you're not a ****, choose something else. My husband had the club sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals. We ended with me the apple claw, the more apple thN claw. My husband had the hot cider with Captain Morgan. We look forward to coming back and tasting dinner.

This place has the best reuben sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I've tried many. The one thing I could change is to grab a side of a thousand island if you like a little more. Food and service were very fast and very fresh. The sweet potato fries were amazingly crispy, but soft, which can be difficult to do. Anyway, it would come back.

Food and service were excellent! We ordered Cesar and strawberry beet salads, the hanger steak, salmon and short ribs. For dessert we had the strawberry rhubarb crisis and brownies with ice. Everything was farm fresh and tasteful! Very recommended! Also family-friendly.
