Blackfin Pub - Reserva de mesa

This is where we had our first meal after arriving in Courtenay. The views from our patio table were stunning as we watched the sun change angles and the tide come in. We had a hard time choosing as there were several items on the menu that we wanted to try. Finally, we ordered Hunter Schnitzel. I love the selection of local vegetables on the plate: spaghetti squash, Asian daikon, carrots, grilled broccolini and kale. We've been staying away from sugar and gluten, but couldn't resist the dessert – the pudding was just perfect, not too sweet. We've wanted to come back and eat our dinner here every night, but they are booked up and packed on the weekends.

I visited the Black Fin Pub recently and was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly friendly staff. They were attentive and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I must admit that I was disappointed with the quality of the food. Despite the warm service, the dishes fell short of my expectations and were rather lackluster. It's great for a friendly gathering, but the culinary experience might leave you wanting more.

Very slow service with the couple on the adjacent table, who'd ordered well after us, being served before. My wife had the chowder, said it was OK. I ordered the $21 seafood enchiladas. These were flauta size, served in a small dish within a big plate. The sauce, I suspect, was made with condensed cream of tomato soup with added spices. They contained fish, but no other identifiable seafood. Terrible value for money.

The restaurant is very comfortable inside the staff are really good and friendly. The sea food chowder is very good and it is almost a meal The beef tenderloin is a great choice and the portions are more than adequate. You can tell things are run well as it is busy. Returned for another lunch and it was OK not the best that I have had. My wife had Salmon and I had ribs. Reserva una mesa ahora

we had lunch in blackfin pub today and it was great! it is a very nice, clean restaurant with great view and excellent service. our server samantha22 was very attentive as the hostesses who have stored our luggage for us. the seafood chowder was delicious, like the fish and chips and fish tacos. we would highly recommend!

Love this restaurant. Absolutely stunning views. The food is fantastic. We had a party of 17 and everyone loved it. The service was great. We come this way once a year and have made it a tradition to have dinner here on Saturday night. It has never disappointed

Outstanding food and ambiance but even more outstanding the was the service! Sam our server was fabulous along with everyone else who helped. Everyone went above and beyond. I can't recommend this place enough. We will most definitely be back!

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Not super busy so we didn't have to wait for a table for long. The ocean view was stunning. The server recommended us the steak salad and it was awesome! I will definitely come again to try other dishes! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had fish chips, meatloaf chicken pot pie.Chicken pot pie was delicious, with hints of rosemary, meatloaf was most and flavorful with ample vegetables.Fish chips were?ok?. I've had better but was still ok.

Not many spots in Comox but this is a must. Great spot just up the hill from the marina. Amazing comfort food. Great clam chowder, fish and chips, tacos and more. Book ahead because there's a long wait.
