Beautiful atmosphere, great place to take friends or family to! But I recommend making reservations a head of time! Lucky when we got there, there was a table! As soon as about 15-20mins. later it started to get busy! There people being told about a 2 hour wait to get a table! Some people couldn't believe how busy it was for a Wednesday night! My sister's boyfriend El, paid for the dinner! He started with prawns for a appetizer for The main course Hunters veal, my sister had crab cakes; she stated a little spicy for her! She had fish and chips 3 pieces, for me I had 2 pieces! Was hoping to see the kitchen, but was told they're busy in the back; maybe another time! Our waitress Kaylee, I hope...

This is where we had our first meal after arriving in Courtenay. The views from our patio table were stunning as we watched the sun change angles and the tide come in. We had a hard time choosing as there were several items on the menu that we wanted totry. Finally, we ordered Hunter Schnitzel. I love the selection of local vegetables on the plate: spaghetti squash, Asiandaikon, carrots, grilled broccolini and kale. We've been staying away from sugar and gluten, but couldn't resist the dessert ?the pudding was just perfect, not too sweet. We've wanted to come back and eat our dinner here every night, but they are bookedup and packed on the weekends.

a truly unforgettable evening! it was wonderful to sit in the cozy glowing of a natural fireplace with a great view of the bay in the night. we enjoyed our cocktails very and the bacon wrapped scallops were juicy and delicate! my 8oz steak was perfectly cooked and the garlic shrimp was a perfect complement! a beautiful meal that meets all my expectations! a scream-out to our server as well as that made a good work, although the restaurant was very busy! thanks again for a great dinner!

The restaurant is very comfortable inside the staff are really good and friendly. The sea food chowder is very good and it is almost a meal The beef tenderloin is a great choice and the portions are more than adequate. You can tell things are run wellas it is busy. we had lunch in blackfin pub today and it was great! it is a very nice, clean restaurant with great view and excellent service. our server samantha22 was very attentive as the hostesses who have stored our luggage for us. the seafood chowder was delicious, like the fish and chips and fish tacos. we would highly recommend!

Fine local cuisine, good drinks, excellent customer service and warm ambient environment what else can You ask for? No wonder they were fully booked. Reservations are definitely recommended. This place is located just outside of Marina with very nice views over Fisherman's Wharf another reason to pay a visit ;

high quality eating with fun servers. I loved her curry mussels and calamari, although the lingcod dish was in order, the rice was a little soggy for my taste, although the steak was cooked to perfection! the lookout was also very nice. overall a great experience.

we came to lunch on Saturday. not super busy, so we didn't have to wait long for a table. the view of the sea was breathtaking. the server recommended us the steak salad and it was great! I will definitely come back to try other dishes!
