We had a phenomenal experience hosting our wedding welcoming party at Blackfinn in Ashburn. From the very first interaction, Izzy and the entire Blackfinn team were incredibly helpful and responsive. They worked with us to ensure we had a great amount of food and navigated a few different dietary restrictions to put together a menu we were really happy with. They made sure we had a great, separate area for our guests and made sure we were able to have a few speeches. The service was great all night. It was a great party thanks to Blackfinn!
The service at this restaurant was top-notch, but the food was just mediocre. The nachos were fantastic, but the fried deviled eggs were terrible. Even after removing the breading, they still tasted awful. I usually enjoy deviled eggs, but these were an exception. My friend didn't like the lemonade either. The fries looked appetizing and my friend enjoyed them. My Mac and cheese with pulled pork was tasty at first, but the smoking of the pork gave it an unusual flavor that I didn't particularly care for.
The food at this restaurant was excellent, as we enjoyed a buffet style meal for a Christmas party. However, the drinks were hit or miss. The Old Fashioned cocktail we ordered was so bad that we had to send it back. It's possible they have a new bartender or an unusual recipe. The Fields of Gold cocktail was better, but still not my favorite, possibly due to an odd recipe too. I decided to try the Peach Sangria and absolutely loved it. Despite the mixed drinks, we had a great time.
Food was amazing! I really enjoyed my sangria too! Our food came out pretty fast. Our waitress was a little slow which we didn?t mind because we were enjoying ourselves, but we did need water refills and my friend always had to call her down for her soda refill too. And we were the only ones there! That?s why I took off one star. Will def be back though!! Also, cannot beat happy hour. Make sure to check when that is!!!

The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. Beer selection had something for everyone, nice variety. The buffalo flower deaths were good, the buffalo Flatbread was extremely sharp. Super kid friendly. Our server Eric was fabulous and worked hard to negate our needs and make sure we get what we ordered. We visited a Sunday and it started to do when all football matches started. This is a great stop!
If I tell you, you must try the chicken roasted chicken!!! Get it and add one side of the macaroni, and dive your potatoes into the cheese. Your macaroni is SOOO cheesy. I wish I could explore the rest of the menu, but I never want to experience myself again from this dish! from: Your friendly neighborhood fat
Unfortunately we did not have the best experience. Our waiter was great, but our kids meal burger and my eggs where raw. We did not ask for a refund, so I can not comment if they would or not. Our other child?s meal and my husband meal were good, but not sure if we?d risk going back again.
