Primer domingo brekkie en el herrero. Tienen servicio de mesa y la camarera me dio el menú y grifo el agua. Pedí la sartén de herrería de frijoles cocidos lentos, chorizo, ricotta, huevos codificados y tostadas, y una MAC larga reclinada. El café salió rápidamente y fue caliente y fuerte; café perfecto. La comida tampoco tardó demasiado, y fue un servicio bastante grande. Los frijoles eran deliciosos con una bonita salsa equilibrada, y el chorizo le dio al plato una bonita nota picante. Early Sunday brekkie at the Blacksmith. They have table service and the waitress gave me the menu and tap water. I ordered the Blacksmith pan of slow cooked beans, chorizo, ricotta, coddled eggs and toast, and a long Mac topped up. Coffee came out quickly and was hot and strong; perfect coffee. Food didn’t take too long either, and was quite a large serve. Beans were delicious with a nice balanced sauce, and the chorizo gave the dish a nice spicy note. A perfect wintery cold brekkie dish, which I really enjoyed. Love the vibe of the place which is industrial chick and they play some pretty cool music too. Will come back to try other menu options.
We enjoyed a Saturday lunch here last week. Atmosphere and vibe at this Cool cafe is 10/10. Everywhere you look there is something cool made out of copper or leather. The staff were attentive, and we got a table straight away. Coffee was nice but could have been hotter. I had the salt and pepper squid with pearl cous cous. Squid was well seasoned, but the dish lacked flavours and was a little bit bland. She had the French toast with figs, lavender and marzipan, & loved it. Would like to try the breakfast here as I saw some dishes go past that looked so good.
