Blacksmith's Arms - Reservar una mesa

This restaurant was possibly the best pub/restaurant I have visited in a very long time, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left! The welcome was as warm as the log burner and the food was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. We did not have a reservation, but they quickly found us a table. The chicken dish was amazing and according to my husband and son, the burgers were the best they had ever had! If you are on the island, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I am going to copy word for word a review posted on 1st August this year: Deafening environment, mediocre food. Very ordinary food served in an extremely acoustically challenged space. Had to bellow at one another throughout the meal. Not a pleasant experience. Our thoughts exactly and could not have put it better. So disappointing. There was a huge party of Mums and 1-year olds and the noise was deafening, it was like sitting in a kindergartern. Very average food. The service girls were doing their best, but all in all would not recommend or go back.

OMG I am going to have to stop going here it's becoming addictive. Had the most DELECTABLE lunch both my daughter and I but can not hardly move.Was gorgeous what brilliant chefs.Thanks a million.spoils us for even considering going anywhere else as the food is soooo tasty.Even my grandson who is 24 says he just goes here all the time as it's so good. Thank you all you lovely people. see you again soon.

Fantastic place. Great menu choice, all three courses were delicious. Our evening out was very enjoyable, we had a lovely young man serve us. He was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back!

We felt that the dining room lacked personality. The food was tasty, but the choices of draft beer and cider were limited.
