I recently visited Patterson’s Blackstock Market for the first time, having heard a lot of buzz about it. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The fried chicken lacked flavor, with the main taste being burnt oil, and it was overly greasy for a place specializing in fried chicken. The fries were just basic frozen ones—nothing remarkable. The chicken gravy tasted like it came from supermarket granules. I ordered the 'garlic aioli' for £1.50, but it arrived in a tiny portion reminiscent of a fast-food chain, and it was merely bottled mayo with no real garlic flavor. We attended the free family fun day and it exceeded our expectations. My daughter got her hair styled, along with face glitter and a glitter tattoo, all at very reasonable prices, and she was absolutely thrilled. She enjoyed playing and dancing; the disco was fantastic, and there was also a small soft play area for younger kids. The food was incredible; my husband, daughter, and I each visited different places, and our meals arrived quickly, served by friendly staff. It was truly the easiest and most enjoyable, budget-friendly afternoon we've had in a while. We will definitely be back! We had a fantastic day at Blackstock Market for the family fun day! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was lively. There was amazing entertainment and plenty of games for the kids to enjoy. The variety of food vendors was impressive, and the kids' comedy show at the end was brilliant. A huge thank you to Mick for his assistance, as it was our first visit to Blackstock Market. I had a fantastic evening at Blackstock Comedy Club! The vibe was incredible, the staff were welcoming, and the lineup of comedians was excellent. I laughed the entire time! The venue has a cozy, intimate atmosphere that's ideal for a comedy night. Drinks were fairly priced, and the overall experience was absolutely worth it. I will definitely be returning soon!
