We've been going to this restaurant at Blapbach for many years, run by the Hofer family. I can't be entirely without bias as my opinion is formed by many years of holiday memories, but I have eaten here very happily in the past and in the last year too. They serve good solid Bernese food, with lots of varieties of sausages and, of course, the excellent rosti which I can't recommend enough: a cake of melting grated potato crisped in butter. Massive meringues and ice cream confections and the Blapbach coffee (with schnapps and whipped cream) finish off the meal. Park up, go for a walk in the beautiful Emmental, and enjoy the restaurant. Sehr schönes Restaurant, tolle grosse verglaste Terasse mit seitenwänden ..windgeschützt.Grosser übersichtlicher Parkplatz. Auch der Kaffe, und das Bier, fein. Der Service, tadellos, Ich finde es gut, dass jetzt wenigstens die Terassen wieder offen sind.
Typisch Emmental, ländlich, hügelig u. viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Mit Postautoanschluss. sehr schöne Terrasse u. grosser Parkplatz. Schönes Ziel auch für Motorrad- oder Velofahrer.
Exceptionally good cuisine and there is a spacious playground for the children. Staff remain friendly and professional even in turbulent times.

We always enjoy coming to Rest.Blapbach. The food is very good and the service is very friendly despite the full house and a lot of work.
Were here for dessert. All employees very friendly. Great meringues. Huge portion at a great price, WOW! Highly recommended.
