I am in Essen quite a lot for business and tend to always go back to Bliss as the quality of the food for the price is excellent and so is the service and I like the outside space at the rear which is a...must if the weather is nice.

We were a big English speaking group and there were no English menus available. The chef came out and chatted with us and then just starting bringing out lots of amazing small plates. Wonderful food, service, and wine.

Perfect meal (raw tuna with ginger is a must try great place, fantastic people! Make sure you meet the chef Sascha!! Great man!!
