Location really good, but if you're coming by car especially on weekends you'll have a hard time finding a parking space close by. Food was excellent but the prices are a bit more high than other restaurants. i've had some beef with french fries and the other person a cordon Bleu with fries, 4 glasses of wine, one beer, and 2 pancakes and the pricetag was 175 CHF. The restaurant itsefl is cozy but a bit too little for my taste, and they also have a great bar in which you can have a whiskey or maybe a cocktail. Certainly will go again.
the food was very delicious. the service very friendly and speditiw. only small negatiw point was that the tartar with herbal mousse/crätuerbutter was no longer a proper tartar, as the meat was a bit too far through (at any rate on the basis of the warm teller.)
Very nice Wiener Schnitzel and Fries! It's a nice place to eat, like in a small cave. About the value for money its expensive but its very valuable quality of food. Service was good.
I had often heard of the excellent tatar. now I have verified it. excellent quality. many different variations. large portions. price performance top. very friendly service.

we were with friends for dinner in the blockhus. the spears were very fine and the routined waiters made the visit an experience.
Top food and service, in the middle of a Thursday afternoon. Also great ambience with the old Valais wood.
Nice atmosphere, good cuisine. Unfortunately the reservation didn't work out so well...
