Having ordered at 6.15 and told 30-60 mins for delivery we were very dissatisfied to get an email to say 25mins delay, so delivery should have been 7.50, waited until 8.15 and nothing, I called the restaurant 55 times and it was engaged every time, my partner then drive to the restaurant to be told it had left, he got home to it not being here, I then started to get something to make out the fridge, as I did so it arrived Over 2 hours later, the beef was disgusting and inedible so this will be my last order from them which is a shame as I have eaten there for 20 years.
I read the reviews and decided to try Blossom House. How I regret taking notice of any of the reviews. The wontons had no filling. The ribs were dry and had actually got the point were they were crunchy! The vegetable spring rolls had nothing but bean sprout in them. The sweet and sour prawns were overcooked, making the prawns dry and chewy and the batter was thick and crunchy not crispy). The special rice was underwhelming. Overall the worst chinese that I have ever had. Expensive and dreadful. Avoid this place like the plague.
Whilst the food was ok AVOID paying cash as they don’t carry enough change! Whilst only nominal value the driver told us he would be back with the £2.50 change in 5 mins! 2 hours and a couple of calls later still waiting! Person on the phone 2nd time told us not his problem!! They are busy and driver has been told to come back. When asked how long they would be was told when he finishes! Normally wouldn’t bother but they charge for delivery. It’s more the principle than the value!! Won’t use them again!
It has been several years since we visited Blossom House and everything was still up to the same high standard we have experienced in the past the decor and furnishings are immaculate and Tony looked after us particularly well we decided on two feasts between the four of us we certainly recommend the Peking and Szechuan versions book in advance and enjoy a great experience Reserva una mesa ahora
