Blue Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We went to the Blue Cafe in Leatherhead as we’d heard good things about it and fancied giving it a try. I’ve always been attracted to their massive zebra print chairs in the window too! I’d read online that the service can sometimes a bit surly and I guess the staff seemed a bit lackluster, but they were efficient and speedy, so that was good enough : I was rather indecisive as to what to order to eat as they have a nice wide range of sandwiches and paninis. To say I was tempted by the cakes is a massive understatement, but in the end I went for a chicken, bacon, and cheese panini for £3.80 which also came with a small side salad and a couple of tortilla style crisps. It tasted pretty good, just could have done with a bit more filling though. But it was a lovely little place for a catch up and the prices were reasonable. This is a great location for lunch, and it is quite popular, so if you don’t like queues, like myself, come here closer to 2pm. I liked very much their toasted sandwiches and ciabattas, and their soups were great too. You can even get a sandwich with Polish sausage, which is very tasty and completely unknown for the greatest majority of Brits.

Had a delicious large salad here, as an early lunch... was delicious, and was truly a large plate. Good value for money, and the ambience is pretty good. They have a large selection of items on the menu, and decent coffee and drinks too. All served quickly, with polite and friendly staff... what's not to like!

Fab cafe. Excellent menu, amazingly quick service and lovely food. Really busy (dammit) and the coffee is awesome. Prices are very reasonable. It's my little secret.
