Blue Door Bakery Cafe

This was a great find! Had no idea this place did vegan menu options for breakfast and weekend brunch. Had omnivorous family in town and we needed a fuel up. Went in expecting to just have coffee for myself because there wouldn’t be anything vegan. Boy was I wrong! Even had a bunch of vegan baked goods when I was there. Definitely check them out for brunch! Thursday’s are even more awesome for Vegans.

1st time eating in Blue Door Bakery. They had 3 items on the menu that were clearly marked and multiple deserts. My wife had the Garden Veggie Hash and I had the Vegan Benedict. Both very good but we both liked the Vegan Benedict better. Then we had the vegan chocolate tart. We now want to come back to the Thursday Vegan special menu day.

Some of the best vegan-friendly food I've ever had (when they have it)! My only wish is they would offer a permanent vegan-friendly menu. If they offer the vegan happy hour menu all the time, it would keep me out of Portland!

We love Bleu Door. We've been for brunch several times and are never disappointed. And don't even get my started on the baked goods...to die for! It's just a real treat to have a wonderful choice for a fresh, delicious meal.

it is worth waiting for vegan Thursday to roll around at bleu door. breakfast or lunch. always some very delicious vegan choices and great staff.
