Ordered the cacio e pepe from their special menu and it was overwhelming. My pasta was very watery, not cheesy. It had good taste, but nothing like traditional Cacio e Pepe. We had mixed emotions about the chicken parmigiana pasta dish of my wife. The chicken was good, but it was very saucy. It was served by one side of Rigatoni on a separate dish that was drowned in sauce that felt with the chicken like sauce overkill. Our friends ordered the filled bowls, a side order of meatballs and a personal pizza they seemed to enjoy. The coal fired chicken wings and they were delicious. Regarding the service, we read some reviews before our visit, so we set our expectations accordingly and what we have read was accurate. No one was rude, but the service was missing. We had to fly our server to take our order and once we got our food they were missing in action. Has not offered to refill our waters and simply did not show up until we were finished to clear the table and bring us the check we had to lead down to flags. Felt more how to take place then the fine restaurants decor they promote. They also seemed to be busy with a private party in the back room. Maybe they take care of larger groups. Who knows?
Excellent pizza, but a little overpriced. Over $30 for a standard size cake with a topping. And $15 for a toner of Soda. But the service was excellent and I would return. Next time you bring my own soda, which is a nutritional restriction (so they cannot use their outside the beverage policy against me).
Was actually looking forward to this with all the good reviews. Ordered a large pepperoni for 38 on seamless yesterday, just to get a undercooked, soggy pie with watery sauce. Only decent and cooked part was the crust. Either way save your money find a different spot for pizza night.
