We have not been here for several months and decided to drop in today. Our previous experiences with the food were not good after the original owner sold the restaurant. However today seemed to be much better. We ordered hot and sour soup to share. Its a large bowl big enough for several cups each and loaded with stuff. I don't care for the flavor of bamboo and unfortunately it was loaded with bamboo. Next time I will advise them to leave it out. But it was spicy and flavorful. Chicken 冬菇蒸鸡饭 Steam Chicken with black mushrooms over rice was not edible. The chicken was grossly undercooked and hard with bones sticking out because chicken was roughly cut with lots of small, sharp bones. The pork 梅菜扣肉 Pork belly with preserved vegetable was so oveecooked and hard to swallow. It tasted like it has been boiled and then frozen and doused with sugar and five spice powder. Texture was super weird and food was not cooked properaly and hard to eat. Hot and sour 酸辣汤 Hot Sour Soup was ok with good size protein and combination of added items but-the soup was flavorless as if made from water instead of a broth base soup. .Only the soup is edible.
Loved the personal rooms for karaoke! Employees came to check up on us periodically but only thing was there was a sign on the door saying no outside drinks but there was a an empty 36 case box of Budweiser outside one of the karaoke rooms. I'm pretty sure it was the owner's/employees friends n family but hey! Shouldn't rule apply to everyone no matter who or is it just me?
蜜椒牛仔骨 Honey pepper beef ribs Was not good. The meat was soggy, I wouldnt recommend this dish however the 梅菜扣肉饭 Pork Belly Preserved Vegetable Over Rice was really good and the 鸡炒饭 Chicken Fried Rice was really good!

it is our favorite HK style restaurant that we go every weekend if no other choices we prefer. They are specialized in wok cooked rice plates and free soup and free lemon tea!

Authentic Hong Kong Cafe food. Taste very good and the prices are very reasonable. It 's our go to place for HK food.
