Blue Moose is a very good neighborhood find for those living in Prairie Village those coming from other places. It is welcoming and has EXCELLENT SERVICE, the wait staff being friendly, always aware of the diners needs while not being too friendly or sitting down at the table which is becoming common in some restaurants. The food is always excellent and it does not matter what I have ordered: It is all delicious. The Burger 's are great and the Chicken Shrimp Curry is so good I could eat two orders! They messed up our omelet orders, but we made it work. Wide variety of brunch buffet items! Big round booth not very good for buffet eaters- in and out, moving constantly. We will ask for a table next time. Waiter seemed fairly new and was frustrated when the omelets didn't come quite as ordered, but we told him it was ok, we'd deal with it.

This is a regular spot for the family and as long as they serve the mac cheese my kids will continue to go. It seems to be a first-time spot for servers who have a bit of a learning curve but still enjoy the place.
