Had a very nice meal at Blue Ribbon Sushi. The atmosphere and ambience were perfect for catching up with a friend. We were a party of 2, and were given a large table where we were able to spread out. Service was attentive and accommodating (my fiend doesn't like salmon and they were able to substitute another fish on her set platter order) without being overbearing. The set platters are a great value, and the fish is high quality and very fresh. Also enjoyed the miso soup (that you can add your own desired amount of miso paste to) and edamame, as well as the selection of mocktails. Would definitely dine here again.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant located inside a hotel. The atmosphere is really trendy, and although it seems small at first, you are guided from the bar area to a larger yet cozy space surrounded by warm wooden decor. The food was outstanding - fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared. The rice was light and the seafood was always the standout ingredient in each dish. The desserts were especially noteworthy - creative and absolutely delicious. From start to finish, this dining experience was divine.

The Fried chicken, which is usually excellent downtown was missing something. We have eaten here many time, we love it and will be back. We did not live this time. Service was suitable but the server lacked warmth. I asked for a candle in our dessert for a birthday. We ordered two desserts, we got a third dessert we did not ask for m, but was also charged for. Kinda tacky.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for delicious traditional Japanese cuisine served with a friendly and attentive attitude. While the maki rolls were slightly smaller than average, they were still expertly crafted. The grilled hamachi was outstanding. The ambiance was pleasant and the service from our server was top-notch.
Blue Ribbon at Columbus Circle is a beloved choice for our family and our preferred sushi destination. The sushi is consistently top quality, with a great selection and always tastes fresh and delicious. We have visited numerous times and have never been disappointed, it is always excellent.
This was my first time at Blue Ribbon. I will be going back! The entire meal was a 10/10. The crispy rice app was to die for. We also got the 10 piece sushi 1 role. VERY GOOD. Our server was very attentive.
Oxtail fried rice, chicken wings. Definitely a must try. Overall, a really solid Japanese restaurant with fresh sushi and amazing dishes. Been here several times and I always get the oxtail fried rice ????
