They didn't inform us about their no credit or debit card policy until after we had eaten, and there was a $3.50 fee for using it. Just as we were about to head to the ATM, the lady at the counter offered to let us pay later. It was a bit surprising—who does that these days? Honestly, it felt like stepping back in time to a charming, old-fashioned café with homemade meals and genuinely friendly staff. I half-expected to wake up the next morning and realize it was all a dream, as it felt so much like home (which is four hours away). I definitely recommend trying this place! We were too full for dessert, but we will be back for the cake!

That was our second time to eat here... the reason why it's a second because the food was so good the first. Very good home style food, an excellent value and fantastic service... We drove from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania and stopped here because of the food network recommendation...now we recommend the Blue Springs to everyone between St.Louis and Indianapolis...Thanx for a great culinary experience.... These folks are incredible! I just ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was a good size—about half the plate. The coating is perfectly crispy, just as it should be. You can get refills on all the sides, so if you need more, just ask. The pickled beets are fantastic! Most portions are huge, and with the sides, you’ll never leave feeling hungry. It’s a great spot!

I've got to tell ya....over the years we flew by this little cafe. Then a friend of mine said we should stop, because they had the absolute best home cooked food. Most every trip home we stop, including today and once again.....the BEST home cooked meal ever! One of these days when we don't have the meal, we'll be able to get a piece of their awesome looking pie! Reserva una mesa ahora

I ordered the chicken and dumplings, along with sweet tea and chocolate cake. The food was delicious and had a homemade taste—definitely the best I've had! Our server, Austin, was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. I highly recommend everyone to stop by here. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

The food is delicious! I get the country fried steak every time we go and it is always great. Only place around here that makes it right. With all the yummy sides (oh those mashed potatoes and biscuits! they give you, it's impossible to not leave full. Service is excellent and prompt. Great place!

We've eaten here at least three times. I love their fried chicken and pies! I've tried the chocolate, banana, and strawberry rhubarb pies! It's definitely worth a spot and the prices are fair as well.
