After passing Bluebird for years, we finally tried it this weekend... twice! We went for coffees on the Saturday. I’m not a coffee drinker but my partner said they were really good and great value for money. The staff were so pleasant and the coffee...so good we had to go back for breakfast! On Sunday we tried the breakfast burrito, bluebird burrito and a couple morning rolls. Everything was brilliant! Can’t wait to try more of the Bluebird’s menu!
Had a quick lunch in this tiny little cafe the other day. The menu mostly consists of soups and sandwiches, along with some breakfast items like pancakes. I went for the soup and half sandwich combo, which made for a well-priced, filling, and tasty midday meal. The ingredients were all fresh and high-quality. Service was friendly and efficient.
Had my usual pancakes, crispy bacon, fried egg with a side of maple syrup, one word … PERFECTION Being able to sit in was so nice … I’ve missed the atmosphere of the place and Amy Kerrie were perfect hosts! Thanks @Bluebirdcafeedinburgh ..will see you again soon! And YES … best pancakes in Edinburgh!!
The food can be really good but contradicted by the staff working there. They're all really beautiful but can get easily distracted or flowy, especially when the cafe is full, which is quite often as it's so small. Reserva una mesa ahora
Had read amazing reviews about this place however was disappointed by the food. Just average, pancakes were a bit dry. Forgot to give us maple syrup which was annoying and had to go back.
Fantastic breakfast. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Fantastic choice for breakfast. Easy to find and staff helpful with directions and places to go to the nearest one.
This is a superb little cafe. Been here quite a few times on the way to cricket at goldenacre nearby. Always get a Bacon roll which is always good. Good people that run it.

Stopped by for two burritos and was very pleased. Great taste and great coffee. Such a nice little cafe.
