Make your reservation. Drop ins are hit or miss. It seemed the staff was a bit overwhelmed as we waited for drinks for a while. Bread is amazing and I highly recommend the Ahi and scallops. Old fashions aren't too bad either😉. If you like trains, sit on the patio...🔊🔊📢📢📢🔊🔊📢

Great food. My husband and I had the calamari to start and it was super yummy! I had the walnut crusted halibut. It was a very generous portion and so good I ate it all. My husband had the cioppino. He too had a very healthy portion. We both would order what we had again.

Food was good. Could have been a little warmer,Caesar salad was nothing to write home about, the dressing was not the typical Cesar dressing and kind of blah. Calamari could have been much better if it was warmer. The rest of the food had good flavor

Had a great dinner with the family. Lots of good seafood choices. Our server did a wonderful job with recommendations, speed, and follow up. I personally enjoyed the Seafood Cioppino. The rest on the family thoroughly enjoyed their selections. Reserva una mesa ahora

blue water grill has a warm, comfortable atmosphere with good service and good food! we were here several times and enjoy this restaurant as our favorite restaurant in carlsbad!
