"It's a gigantic carnival-like roadside stand for fruit, meat produce, etc. There's often a grill for meat, a bakery, freezers of pies, ice cream, multiple artisan booths, and anything else that can be profitably sold. In other words, it's a nice place to visit. On entertainment, there was little, but everything else worked. Recommended."

If you're going for Mother's Day weekend, change plans. You will wait over 2 hours to get 1/2 of what they state on their Strawberry Festival ads. No Strawberry Pie. No Strawberry Cobbler. The Strawberry Sangria is almost a lie: its made from Blackberry Hard Cider and some imitation pink colored Strawberry syrup with a slice of strawberry in a 4-ounce plastic cup for $7.00 which is bad tasting. The Strawberry Fudge tastes bad, too. The worst part was biting into a Strawberry Dumpling and finding most of the strawberries had turned totten. Ugh! There is nothing special up there-just Boa's way to drum up business as cheaply as possible. I thought there would be something for the kids: face pai...

Whoa. I don't know how is it that for three decades, I drove to South Lake Tahoe and not once stopped here. I do know that I will be making a pit stop here every time from now on. The glazed apple donut is a must have. They sell a lot of stuff here different varietals of apples, different things made with apples. I didn't get to try them so I can't comment. But the glazed apple donut.... Five stars! I generally don't eat donuts but for you I make an exception.

Such a great spot right in the heart of apple hill! Get her early especially during weekends and Fall time as it’s a must on so many to do lists. They have great fruit, apple samples, gifts and snacks for him, wine and snack bars, and you must not forget all the baked goods and ice cream! It’s so delicious. But again be warned of large crowds later in the day. Don’t forget to go in October too to find some pumpkins!

Boa Vista is a very cool orchard with a variety of delicious home made goodies. We got a few items as a gift from friends who were passing by and all the goodies were delicious. The pickles were my favorite, crunchy, salty, and tasty. We also got jam and pumpkin butter that goes great on toasted goods in the morning. Hopefully will visit this location while passing by to go to Tahoe after the storms have surpassed.
