The Boathouse At Breach Inlet

Was disappointed servers were not in masks. Reserved outdoor seating but was told it would be a minute wait. Full disclosure it was mentioned they could not guarantee that. Should simply take it off as an option. Management and servers were as accommodating as possible. Since I picked that restaurant for the sunset we were disappointed that couldn’t happen. Would have chosen another

Was great but asked to add two more people to make it was told we couldn’t but when we were sat we had an extra table next to us that wasn’t used the whole time we were there. Disappointing they wouldn’t accommodate extra people that were visiting no less. Totally could have accommodated our extended party was disappointed by that but food was great

We always make a reservation weeks in advance and ask for a table on the porch by the screen and never get it. Last night we watched a party of 2 like us get seated at a table next to the screen like we asked for. We are always slammed up next to two other tables with people we do t know listening to our every word. Very uncomfortable.

Service was slow (we weren't served for almost an hour and noise was a problem, but that was understandable on Saturday night. What was not understandable was 5 beautiful little lobster tails cooked almost beyond recognition and too chewy to swallow. (But who is going to send an order back after waiting so long for it? The space was extremely crowded and noisy! The food was the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. I had mahi-mahi which was small serving, thin piece of fish and tasteless. The shrimp and grits had marinara sauce that was cold. We will not return! This is a restaurant we have enjoyed in the past 40 years but no more!

The sea bass was so salty we could hardly eat it. At it was a huge disappointment. Other items we ordered were ok. Our waiter was quite accomplished and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is lovely

The hush puppies are a must. We had salmon, fish, Mac and cheese and the collard greens. All were delicious! Added bonus of watching dolphin swimming behind the restaurant.

Boathouse staff and meal were superb. Our favorite vacation restaurant.
