Bobby J's Italian American Grille

A lot has changed through the last few “Covid” years but …. One thing that hasn’t is the GREAT food dished out by Bobby, Jay, and the staff BobbyJ’s! Living just a few miles away I call this a local gem but is probably one of the best restaurants in WNY. Whether it be some chicken wings which I think are best around) or some great Italian dishes, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. For a real treat take in one of Jay’s theatre productions and be ready for an outstanding night out. Thanks Desiderio’s for being part of Cheektowaga.

I had an incredible drink called "Carmel in the Cloud" at this restaurant. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The French onion soup, banana peppers, bread and oil were all good. Unfortunately, the entrees were all terrible. We ordered Eggplant Parm, Linguine Alfredo, minestrone soup, and a Cheektowaga Steak sandwich. One dish was sent back, another was taken home out of politeness, and I only managed to take a couple of bites. The waitress was nice though.

This restaurant has become our favorite spot when we're indecisive about where to eat. Everything on the menu is delicious! The sauce is fantastic, and we especially enjoyed a special dish of cauliflower cooked with brown butter over pasta. We wish this dish would be added to the regular menu. The cozy family atmosphere is lovely, the service is always excellent, and it's reassuring to see the same familiar wait staff each visit, which reflects good management.

I was there for my grandson's first birthday party. The food was excellent and the servers were prompt and nice as can be. Rigatoni with meat sauce was the main dish but i don't eat meat so i asked if they had sauce without meat. They made me spaghetti with a delicious marinara sauce! This is not the fanciest restaurant in Buffalo, but it's among the top in terms of cuisine. The Spaghetti Aglio E Olio is spectacular, the creme brule is perfect. My son raved about the stuffed banana peppers. Of all the restaurants in Buffalo, I chose this one for my birthday. Thank you Bobby J's for the perfect meal!

Really nice bar. Also like the restaurant side, too. The food is great. They had a tour of Italy platter special the second time I visited. Plentiful parking out back. There's a good chance you'll see the owner here. He seems very invested in the quality of this establishment.

Stuffed peppers were completely burnt to a crisp and black…. They tasted like they caught on fire and then still served to us, so gross. Lasagna wasn’t fully cooked, noodles were still hard. Our bill came to $84. What an absolute waste of money. I do not recommend.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Before the main course, we were served fresh warm bread and crisp cold salad, which were both very good. The atmosphere was clean and nice. Reserva una mesa ahora

We totally enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner. Excellent food and service from Ericka. We had a table of 11. Everyone was 100% satisfied. Food was hot and very tasty. Thanks for a great dinner.

We went for Dinner Theater. You eat first, then Act 1, dessert at intermission, Act 2 to follow. It was great all around experience. I highly recommend taking advantage of this local gem.
