Randomly stopped here on our way home from Heathsville. Really glad we decided to stop here instead of keep driving for a chain. The food was delicious American fare. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We had great conversations with the people at the restaurant. We were already planning a trip back down to the area just to stop in the various antique and thrift stores, and we 'll definitely plan to come here again. My father used to take me here as a child about 50 years ago when it was called Mom Bowie's. I understand it's been Bobby's kitchen roadside Cafe for about the past 12 years. First time I've stopped in here in decades, service was excellent food was good reasonably priced, you should stop in and give it a try. Fast food, McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc is no longer of value, for about the same price of these fast food restaurants and their junk food, we got some good restaurant home-cooked sit-down got weighted on service, much better bargain.
I only gave four because I really was craving pizza and the day I ordered they had no Pizza's at all . I did get the steakhouse steak and cheese, it was very loaded with meat, good flavor and tons of fries on the side. I'll check back in when I get a pizza ? ?
This is a great little diner. Burger was great. Wasabi sauce with onion rings was a good choice. Would stop again if in the area again.

Very nice staff, good prices and the food was tasty, my only complaint would be that they need to broaden their dessert items.
We just stopped for a beer and a soda so I really can't comment on the food but everyone was very friendly.
Don't let the middle of no where location of this cafe fool you The food is absolutely delicious.
Best catfish platter and handcut fries around! Thanks for a great meal. Would highly recommend.
