"We came to little Italy looking for a good Italian restaurant...well guess what, this wasn’t one of them. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. It took forever to get drinks and even longer to get food. And the food was not worth waiting for. Definitely will not return."

This is one of the best latin restaurant in Montréal, we try the empanadas sampler with a Polar malta. The cachapas with shredded pork and white cheese was very good. Also we try chicha criolla, excellent! This is the only place you can try Venezuelan Polar beer in Canada or Québec, I’m not sure. Also as you may not now in Venezuela there was a huge Italian influence, in fact in the 80 90 venezuela was the second largest country of pasta parmigiano reggiano after Italy, that is why you find pizza in this place, but they prepare like Italian-Venezuelan style. Also the owners of the restaurant was an Italian restaurant entrepreneur for over 30 years. Also they have latin music (salsa, merengue...

Our concierge at our hotel recommended this spot . It’s a Venezuelan spot . This restaurant is located in the Little Italy sector of Montreal in what felt like a very safe neighborhood . It’s about a 15 minute drive from McGill university area. Food was great , only slight negative comment was that portions were a little small . Sangria was great . Service was great , place is clean and nicely decorated . Ask for the homemade hot sauce , it was awesome . We went on a weekend night and they had live music . They also have outdoor seating . They are multi lingual and speak Spanish , French and English.

After walking around the market we worked up an appetite and decided to try this place. This was our first time trying Venezuelan food. We got sat pretty quickly as the place was pretty empty. After waiting for about 40 minutes (with no updates)our food finally came out. The food was great, I got the “Llenera” . So the food itself was great, but not worth waiting that long.

I read about this restaurant in a Montreal blog and decided to check it out. I didn't need a reservation on a Saturday night. The food seemed like fast food, overly fried and greasy. It's fine for a quick bite if you're in the area and don't mind waiting for your food to be cooked, but it's not worth a special trip. It offers a bit of cultural experience, I suppose.
