Bypassing the long line at Schwarzs...I discovered this gem of a place....my arepa with beef avocado and plantains was so fresh hot and delicious...perfectly grilled...and my papelon drink was so refreshing....the gentlemen running this restaurant made great suggestions and were extremely polite and conscientious...my only regret is not getting to sample more !
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The passion fruit pulled pork is out of this world and the pabellon empanadas were also fantastic. And don't even get me started on the YUCA FRIES. Venezuelan cuisine always impresses me.
The arepa filled with pulled beef, cheese, and avocado is amazing. Everything tasted very fresh, and they even made the bread in front of us. I highly recommend this dish!

loved the arrapas and the fried cheese sticks in all their different flavours. It's not a fancy place but the food is very good. Highly recommend it.
While walking down St. Laurent Street in search of a place to eat, I couldn't help but notice the advertisements on the front door of Bocadillo.
The Bocadillo restaurant is shaped like a typical Montreal apartment: narrow and elongated, stretching from the street to a funky backyard.
