I wish I had checked the latest reviews before visiting this restaurant. The service was lacking and quite slow, even though the place was almost empty—which should have been a warning sign. The penne a la vodka, which used to be good here, is no longer up to par; the sauce was a deep red, and some of the pasta was hard and crunchy. The stromboli was mostly just bread, while the calzone barely had any ricotta in it. When the server asked how our meal was, we mentioned the calzone’s lack of filling. When she came back, she told us that was just how it was made. When the manager came over and we explained that the pasta didn’t resemble penne a la vodka, he insisted that it did, attributing eve...
We ordered the bocci balls app to share they were garlicky and just warm. Mains were ok. We ordered the special pasta chicken San Remo. Around 9.40 pm while we were finishing our wine, someone yelled out they were closing I guess we were the last ones in to finish our meals. Average at best and no warm service. Won’t be returning any time soon
Really bad tonight. Got the penne a la vodka. Sauce was a deep red color. Extremely salty. Worst I have had in my life. I have had it before from here and it was great. Tonight it was almost uneatable. Another person’s meal was not made as it should be. Not sure who was cooking tonight, but the dogs food was probably better.
I’ve had the Chicago style pizza from the Bocci in Durham and it was amazing. Therefore, I thought I’d be safe ordering the Chicago style pizza from the Cary location…..unfortunately, I was wrong the pizza hardly had any sauce on it…only 4 dollops that didn’t come close to covering the pizza. Very disappointed!

Terrible experience! I saw roaches in the dining room, and it was extremely hot—sounds like the AC was broken or something. It was really uncomfortable to sit and eat in those conditions. I feel sorry for the staff who have to endure that unbearable heat all day long.
Vicki is awesome! I was there the first time and I needed her help choosing a dish. Her favorite dish turned out to be perfect for my late lunch. And I enjoyed our conversation too. Thank you Vicki!
I have had one bad experience here (and it was a take out order), but the other many many times it is overall a fantastic place. Great service, you can tell the people really care overall.
Fresh delicious well prepared dishes. from Bocci Balls to Meatballs everything was excellent! The calamari was the best I've had!Chicken Parm also delicious. Service was also superior!

Nonna pizza was great! The service was awesome! The baked ziti was good, not great, hence the 4 star rating. Would definitely come back and recommend!
Bred was wonderful, along with the dishes we ordered.
