Brisbane is getting a lot of Latin American places and this is the very first sit down restaurant offering Venezuelan food with dishes and delicious flavours from different regions. Great place to discover the Arepas (corn cakes), Cachapas (corn pancakes) and many other specialities. While I had the Pabellón Nacional, national Venezuelan dish, my family had a tasty Arepa Bochinche (pork and cheese) and a fully loaded Patacón. For entrée a large serve of yummy Tequeños. Every single flavour was exactly like anything you can find in Venezuela. I have to mention the Chicha, such a refreshing drink perfect for the warm evening. We went for mother's day lunch and they seemed to have an special menu for the day as what we got offered was different to photos on this website.I had a rather simple $15 mondongo soup and my husband had pulled pork arepa. My soup wasn't brilliant and was only served with one arepa and a piece of lemon. The pulled pork arepa came with a lot of cheap shredded tasty cheese, this one was too big to be an entree but too small to be main, and there wasn't an entree menu.I also had a mago-parchita frappe that saved the day, it was very nice. Sadly presentation was very poor, not much love put onto any the dishes.On the plus side, place looks great and the service is very friendly.
The place is a little hidden but the food was amazing! I can't believe this restaurant is not on the top recommended places for food in Brisbane. I got the pabellon, apparently it's the national dish and it was absolute beauty. It tasted a little homely too. And of course the empanadas! That's a must have! It's like a little snack or a little starter. I highly recommend this place for food! I had been here twice now in 2 weeks! It made me had the urge to travel to Venezuela !
We went there for lunch with a couple of friends, The food was great, every one of us ordered different meals so we can try some of each plate, there was no dish I dislike ( I had a Cachapa Especial awesome BTW). The only think I didn't like that there were only a few options for drinks. and beers. Anyway, despite being hidden in the Valley this restaurant is a good and new option for dinner cause it definitely worth it. I'll be back.!!

I couldn't find anything positive about this restaurant. The food was below average and almost disgusting in quality. The service was practically non-existent, with the staff treating all patrons as potential thieves by requiring payment upfront before serving any food. This was a disappointing and unacceptable experience.
We had a really good experience , never thought about the warm reception , tasteful dishes and a touch of Venezuela in Australia. The friendly family and Reinaldo will look after you , and really a place to visit again.

Great Venezuelan food and friendly staff have eaten here 3 times and I always try something different So far everything has been delicious.
This place is new and I have to say doesn't feel like Brisbane at allIn a nice wayStep inside Venezuela without the trip to the Americas.
