Bodega Alvaro - Reservar una mesa

Esta cata de vinos fue parte de la excursión y el vino fue servido con algunas tapas muy sabrosas. Había un empate en que no había asiento disponible que estaba bien para la mayoría, pero no para aquellos con dificultades de pie. Había vasos colocados una doalla pegando fuera de un poste central con una base de barril, una vez que usted tenía su copa usted podría ayudarse a sí mismo al vino. Un blanco, un rojo y rosa estaban en oferta mientras degustaba el vino que nos servían con tapas. Las tapas eran muy sabrosas, jamones y quesos en pan y patatas muy calientes al vapor que se servían lisa en sus pieles. El toque final fue una pequeña muestra de un vino blanco espumoso que fue derramado por los servidores, ya que no era un vino hecho por este fabricante de vinos, sino uno de sus comprados. De nuevo había inodoros en el sitio y por supuesto una tienda de regalos intacta la tienda era grande que caminaba a través de ella para llegar a la zona de degustación de vinos. Esto sería adecuado para cualquier persona mayor de 18 años debido al vino que se ofrece.

We visited here on a P&O cruise excursion, they think because they’ve given you wine they can rip you off, we bought a bottle and the woman at the till very swiftly threw in a box of awful chocolates which I’m allergic to into my bag of wine, they cost €5, didn’t realise what she’d done until we got on coach, thought at the time she’d slipped a leaflet in there, looking at receipt the crafty cow had charged us . The Tapas was awful, no veggie option, couldn’t even eat the cheese because it was covered in luncheon meat

We visited Bodega Alvaro on a shore excursion from a cruise ship. We were on Tenerife all day and reached the wine-cellar after a trip over the mountains. Our welcome was great. We were offered samples of several kinds of wine which we imbibed in between enjoying local meat slices, cheese, hot Canarian potatoes dipped in sauce. The long cellar is lined with bottles and barrels and there is a row of tables down the length of the central aisle. A wonderful experience to enjoy at Tacoronte on Tenerife.

We visited Bodegas Alvaro as part of a wine tour excursion from our ship. It has great atmosphere and helpful staff. The waiters provided full decanters of local wine and a generous tapas selection. Try the hot papas (potatoes) with garlic dip. Yummy. The front of the building has a shop where you can purchase the garlic dip, if you like it. We also purchased wine, packaged for travel. Recommend. We will return on our next trip to Tenerife.

On an excursion from Saga Sapphire we were taken to this interesting bodegas on the way back from La Laguna. We enjoyed plenty of decent wine of various types along with lots of tasty tapas. It was a very pleasant experience.
