We went for the first time taking two friends visiting from the UK with us. Not knowing what to expect we had a wonderful surprise. No electricity so candelabra on tables, comfy antique furniture, antique crockery and cutlery and the food was exceptional, 6 courses each one a delight, wonderful balance of ingredients. The wine from their own vineyard free with the meal, very palatable indeed. The entertainment was provided by a guitarist vocalist and of course the inimitable proprietor Carolina who put us all at our ease and made us Sing for our Supper. Long tables of diners from France, Germany, Russian and us four from Yorkshire each invited to belt out a national favourite. A standing ova...

Remote location in the mountain west of Jalon. Old winery wich have been restored and transformed into museum and restaurant. If the time is right you can participate in the process of producing wine. Very enthusiastic and heartly hostess. And good rustic food prepared on gas- and woodstove. No electricity, which we experienced when we arrived on our electric bikes and asked for a place to load our batteries. And after dinner it is compulsory to sing, no matter how. An experience you must not miss!

OMG the food here is amazing. I think only open at weekends for lunch, the restaurant is in the old wine bodega, and you will get a guided tour of the museum thrown in. Food was really exceptional five courses including wine, and some lovely dishes including beautifully prepared salads, with fresh flowers. Can't wait to go back.
