Bodensee-Hotel Sonnenhof

I've never been to a restaurant where your wine is taken away from the table and you have to request a top-up. I imagine that the staff are supposed to keep an eye on your glass but they failed. Good job I'm not a fast drinker! Service was very slow and the place seemed under-staffed. When the food eventually arrived it was very good. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day. The terrace is a lovely spot for dinner but don't go late as it is unlit and you can't see what you are eating once night falls.

One night in the hotel, had a simple room with partial views. The hotel has been renovated and is partly very modern. The restaurant is a must. I don't think there is another hotel along Lake Constance, with the absolutely fantastic view of the lake, as this has. An absolutely wonderful SPA with a large pool completes the picture. For anyone who loves Lake Constance, this hotel is a certain must.

We were at the Sonnenhof about a week. The hotel is great, very good restaurant and even better spa. The area where the hotel is located is wonderful by the lake. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, with many options. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop!

As I wrote in the title, I can not serve over the quality of food and argue the elegant of the restaurant, but the price is quite expensive. Anyway, if you spend some nights at the hotel, it makes sense to try it at least once.

Beautiful people Good food Beautiful view over the lake A place to remember and come back very friendly the wellness center looks awsome! Just like the hotel complex!
