An unexpectedly great find.. We weren't expecting to find something good to eat on a quiet summer Sunday afternoon in Poitiers where most of the town appeared to be closed. But Bolly Food really delivered. It wasn't just good for Indian food in France, it was GOOD food period--one that I'd visit if it were a corner Indian restaurant in London, Birmingham or Sunnyvale (i.e., places with a large, discerning desi community). When we visited, the guy serving us was a one-man show-he was doing all of the cooking as well, and was churning out quality. I highly recommend it.
Portions quite mean. I had a piece of charcoal in my vegetarian specialty, which was like a sloppy aloo goobi (normally a side dish) containing no protein, just potato spinach and an onion curry sauce. I tried the lamb balti which didn't taste like a balti to me and was also sloppy and very little of it. I'm Sorry for the owner who obviously works very hard, I realise it's difficult to encourage rural French people to try exotic food, but you should travel to the UK and sample any popular Indian takeaway. They will show you how to keep customers happy. Good luck.
I was in Poitier for just one evening and fancied a change from French/ Spanish cuisine, so Bolly Food looked a good option near my hotel. Got a table outside, ordered just a main and side dish due to earlier snacking, had to wait just...about the right amount of time for dishes to be freshly prepared. I was asked how hot I wanted my food. I enjoyed the meal but was surprised to find that the Biriyani was not served with a vegetarian curry. It was ok because my spinach side served that purpose well. I would go back if ever in the area again.
very good Indian restaurant and the best of its kind in poitiers france. perfect Indian style spicy delicious food. I sincerely recommend that everyone visit the restaurant as soon as they are here. the owner atleast superb who knows hindi and very supportive. my one month stay daily eating will not be in any other than bolly foods. wish you a happy bolly foods. I am happy to see her again

A friend and I went there on Sunday noon to buy food for us and his family. The young man was very welcoming and he cooked fresh dishes. I didn't resist eating a sheep bhaji as soon as I got back in my car! Delicious! The evening I ate the meal at home (alfortunately 2 1⁄2 hours driving from Poitiers, I was not disappointed: all delicious. I highly recommend this small restaurant
We have dined here several times, it is a small cafe style venue with seating outside in the summer or day time, plus extra seating inside (some of it up very steep stairs). The food is delicious, authentic and very inexpensive. I would recommend the chicken tikka naan wrap as a great lunch time treat!
this is one of the very good hotel in poitiers. the restaurant owner is very nice, courtesy friendly. the taste of eating is very delicious. only because of this hotel I spent time as without boring and as if I eat domestic food. to say in simple words, it is best among very frank.
great place to have Indian food, taste is wonderful, cook is very friendly with customers I am happy to rate it 5 stars, worth for their money and I would recommend to visit once their Indian food
