Our dinner was perfect. We doubted before going because of the ratings but once again we learned that those are really just impressions of maybe even angry or ungrateful people who want to leave a bad comment. We had two huge portions of delicious curry...meals with rice and a garlic naan to share (we were in and almost struggled to finish it all. So a price of around for these vegetarian dishes was absolutely fair and appropriate. The ingredients tasted very fresh and well prepared and the waiter asked us if we wanted low, middle or high spiciness to make sure we would be able to eat and enjoy the food despite the spice. This is definitely a big plus about an Indian place and the first time...
This happens to be a specialised Indian Food restaurant very near to Cologne Cathedral. The service is horrible. More than the food quality, it is the attitude of this restaurant owner (most probably - as per his own claim) which needs to be highlighted just to bring to the notice of Indian Business tourist who might get deceived to have a taste of Indian food in Germany.This owner is extremely rude - more so towards the Indians only. I think the Bombay Palace is the best Indian restaurant in Cologne. You wouldn't think that you really stay in Germany when you go to the restaurant, but really in the Bombay or India. The ambience is almost perfect and the food is really worth it. I can only recommend the curry dishes and you should try some hot dishes. Although not everything is very cheap, it is always recommended for a special restaurant visit. The staff is always very nice and effortless.
This was Indian restaurant that was walking distance from IBIS. The food was good, authentic indian, really inexpensive.. owner served as much rice as we could eat.. some good papad... could see German Couples enjoying their drink as well. Without drinks could manage stomachful Indian...meal Roti, Papad, Rice and Vegetable in Euro. Will definately recommend this restaurant to all...

Delicious and good food, which is offered particularly cheap as lunch. Murgh Tikka and Murgh Dansak (with yellow lens sauce) are my favorites. The ambience: Well, a bit dry as regards spatiality, furniture and decoration. But Mr. Kellner knows to rip it out with her really friendly and binding path. I haven't used the delivery service so far, I'm sure I'm up.
I've ordered food from Bombay Palace a few times already and it was always satisfying. They offer quite some selection of dishes one would expect to find in an Indian restaurant, for relatively low prices. Various types of naan bread too, always warm and fresh.
Who loves Indian food is not in the right place. Raw vegetables, revealed, unsalted, and, despite sharp order, only boring. I don't think it's known about Indian spices. 3 vegetarian dishes ordered at zero.
Recently I had been to this restaurant in cologne. We ordered vegetarian food and the food was very delicious and homely. Atmosphere is good. Price and service are good.

Are here late on a Sunday evening. The owner was welcoming and chatty. Food served quickly and was really good.
