Have you ever gotten the impression some things in life are constructed like license plates? A huge sheet of plain steel rolls out, a large blade slices off a square, and a massive press stamps a random indicator of distinction. I think of the Hyundai Accent of being built like that—as if walking into a dealer and asking, “I’ll have fifteen feet of car please. They roll out the sheet and slap the cutter down; here’s your car: you now have that length of vehicle. Mobile homes are like that to, and I believe some people wander through life having emerged from an assembly line of mediocrity. Apparently certain restaurants are like this as well, dropped from a conveyer belt called “Family Restau...

My cousin and I stayed one night at the motel; average but it was OK. The restaurant was a different story. Waaaay too many entrees to excel at anything. The veal oscar (I know, I know, I should have known better) was touted as having a "Bearnaise sauce topped with crab and shrimp." Alas, I could only find one tiny shrimp and I am not sure I ever saw any crab. The sauce was basically a tasteless Hollandaise; no vinegar, no lemon juice (that I could taste,) no tarragon, and no shallots. Hence; NOT a Bearnaise sauce. The veal was a ground veal patty and was drenched in the tasteless sauce. My cousin could not even eat hers. I ate 1/2 of mine as I was starving, but with a good dose of salt. I g...
Well i really hate having to do this review and especially at christmas. I know people are being dragged kicking and screaming into the world of gluten free and it is unfortunate how selfish some well people really are when they snub people with intolerances. But restaurants that don't care about people with food intolerances should pay attention to just how many people really do have problems. As the world becomes more enlightened these places that continue to operate as if the world isn't changing will be left behind and will eventually close doors as the other half of the world gravitates toward healthier eating. I will be phoning from now on before chancing the food anywhere. Prince geor...
Spent the night at the motel in a mediocre room. In a hurry to get back on the road in the morning, so decided to have breakfast at connected restaurant. Bad decision. Due to health reasons I asked the waitress if the restaurant served whole milk - instead of saying yes or no, I was advised they served 2% only. This was delivered with a rude, almost confrontational attitude. Since I was don't argue or confront service staff I gently tried to explain that 2% milk had more sugars than I could tolerate. She continued to stare rudely at me, and since I was in a hurry and did not have time to go searching for another restaurant. The restaurant appears to be clean and the food is passable diner fo... My first clue that I should have left was the duct tape repair on the booth seat. Catsup and mustard are those tiny plastic things in a bowl on the table. My sandwich had an off taste but I was very hungry and tired from driving all day so just stuffed it in. Probably was a mistake but have lived to tell the tale.I noticed a couple at a table near me and the lady just pushed her plate away from her. It looked like breaded something. The man ate his and they left.
The staff in the restaurant and hotel bent over backward to please over 90 women staying there for a 4 day convention. I don't know how the owner convinced the staff to smile all the time and deliver on all requests. A real joy to stay at and we will be back. Food tasted very good!
We have been going here for years brunch, lunch and dinners and have always had excellent food at great prices. Most plates are enough for two meals, great value!
The food is low quality and over priced. The hamburger was the same consitency as a hot dog. It used to be a good place to eat, not anymore. Reserva una mesa ahora
I met my friend here on her suggestion because she saw this restaurant on the newsI am so glad she wanted to come here.
