UPDATE: After posting this review about my experience I received a call back from Bonchon and a refund was facilitated. I have changed this review from one star to three stars. About a week ago I placed an online order that I picked up shortly before they closed. I realized when I got home that the woman at the counter had given me the wrong order. I tried to contact Bonchon numerous times via email and did not receive any response. I then called the store, and the gentleman I spoke with refused to give me a refund, was quite rude, hung up on me twice. We went here for the first time today. Their food is pretty good and not salty. Customer service was also pretty good. This is a Korean fried chicken place with a Chinese owner. We could taste the Chinese influence in some dishes. For instance, the fried rice did not taste like Korean fried rice but it was still good. We ordered the seafood udon noodle soup, fried rice, a small drumstick set, and the family combo XL. We parked in front of the building, which had a 30 minute time limit meter, not knowing that it was an hour limit just across the street. So we got the rest of the food to go. Ordered Bonchon to be delivered this week. Was very disappointed. The fried chicken was tasty but Bonchon cheats its customers. They cut the chicken wing so that they have the small part of the wing and the drummie. then they count the drummie as a drumstick. Seriously overpriced for what you get. I wouldn 't order from there again because of this dishonest practice of passing off drummies as drumsticks. They are not. So it wasn 't 15 wings and 8 drumsticks. It wasn 't even 15 whole wings for $42. The food would have been great but for that practice.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken sliders were overpriced at $15 for three sliders, which were basically boneless chicken wings. The donuts were also a letdown - they were sold without glaze, and when I purchased the glaze separately, there wasn't enough for even one donut. Opting for a donut without glaze resulted in a dry, flavorless pastry. I would have given this place one star, but the wings were the only good thing about my meal. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is very conveniently located for those living in the uptown area, whether you walk or take the bus. However, it’s less convenient for those who drive, as there is only street parking available, making it challenging to find a spot on such a busy street. The restaurant itself was clean, and the staff was friendly, providing quick and efficient service. The food was fantastic! The chicken was exceptionally crunchy, and the rice was warm and fluffy.

Fast service and good chicken. I got the 8 wings lunch meal got half spicy half soy garlic. I've been sick for a while so my sense of taste hasn't been normal lately but the chicken wings were good. The spicy were surprisingly spicy and the soy garlic wings were good too, could have been a little sweeter I think. Overall four stars, the service was quick the food was really good. I'll definitely have to try it again when I'm feeling better.

This is my new favorite place for fried chicken! It was light, crispy, and full of flavor. The seasoned fries and bulgogi were great too. My only draw back was that the octopus appetizer didn't have enough octopus and it was chewy. Service was also great! Reserva una mesa ahora

Really crispy and delicious chicken, both in the restaurant and as take out/delivery. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the potstickers, chicken, and the parmesan fries are our go tos!

Great service! Quick and well prepared! Go to is always the chicken katsu or fried chicken.
